The energy certificate of functional buildings
Who is affected by the energy certificate of functional buildings ?
Functional buildings (those having less than 90% of their energy reference area for residential purposes) must have the energy certificate of functional buildings.
In the case of a new functional building, the energy passport provides informations based on the calculated energy requirement of the building and on its CO2 emissions. It provides energy efficiency classes ranging from A (most efficient) to I.
In the case of an existing functional building, the energy passport provides informations based on the measured energy consumption of the building (thermal and electrical).
These values are compared with a reference consumption and are represented on an energy scale (ranging from 0% to 400%).
The energy certificate of functional buildings :
- Contains five pages including fuel and electricity consumptions spread over all the areas in these buildings.
As part of our internal rules and in order to ensure the quality and conformity to the Grand Ducal Regulation, all certificates issued by our office are subject to four measures of controls by our qualified engineers in civil engineering and building before sending.
The energy certificate of functional buildings can be established by our team of experts. For more information, contact us!
